Homerr (now Vinted Go) claim deadlines, liability and evidence
Homerr is now Vinted Go, and shipments run through Routes by Vinted Go. Standard compensation on EU routes is EUR 25 per parcel, or EUR 500 where extra coverage was bought, and a claim must be raised within 7 days of delivery or of the parcel being deemed lost.

This page covers a carrier that has been retired. Homerr was a Dutch drop-off network with its own conditions under AVC 2002; it has since been absorbed into Vinted Go, and homerr.com now redirects to a page announcing the change. Anyone still holding a Homerr shipment, or reconciling old invoices against one, needs two positions rather than one: what the legacy Homerr conditions said, and what Routes by Vinted Go says today. They are materially different, and Routes is a consumer-facing product rather than a business shipping contract, which is the first thing to check before assuming it fits a commercial operation.

Homerr no longer exists as a separate service: the brand was absorbed into Vinted Go and every homerr.com address now redirects to a transition page. Shipping runs through Routes by Vinted Go, whose terms set compensation contractually rather than by falling back on AVC 2002 or any other regime.

Vinted Go sets this per route. The Netherlands falls under "other routes" at 7 calendar days; France is 3, Italy 8 and the UK 14. For a missing parcel the clock starts only once it is deemed lost, which takes 14 calendar days of non-delivery, so the two periods stack.

Insured versus uninsured
No additional cover
On EU routes, up to EUR 25 per parcel; UK routes are GBP 20. Only the direct economic replacement value of the contents is compensated. The carrier is on risk from the moment the parcel is dropped off until it is delivered, and claims falling outside that period are inadmissible.
With cover bought
Extra coverage bought at label purchase raises the ceiling to EUR 500 on EU routes, or GBP 400 on UK routes. It is priced per shipment and shown before payment. An unused label expires after 14 days and the extra coverage fee is not refunded.
Delay and late delivery
Not compensated. Non-delivery is what carries a remedy, and a parcel that has not arrived within 14 calendar days is deemed lost.
Evidence required
- Proof of commercial value: the purchase or sales invoice, or the receipt
- For damage: photographs of the packaging, of the damaged item, and of the item inside the packaging
- For loss: a handwritten statement of non-receipt carrying the name, recipient address, city, country, postcode, date of the delivery update, tracking number, signature and date
- The tracking number
Exclusions
- Personal or sentimental value, such as embroidery, certificates, inherited jewellery, vintage clothing or original documents
- Indirect damage of any kind, including lost profits, lost contracts, lost revenue and reputational harm
- Anything outside the window between drop-off and delivery
- Claims where the required evidence is missing or inconclusive, which are rejected outright

What quietly kills Homerr claims
The carrier in your records may no longer be the carrier you can claim against. Homerr is now Vinted Go, and the compensation position changed with it: the legacy Homerr conditions worked from AVC 2002 at EUR 3,40 per kilogram with EUR 50 and EUR 100 Premium tiers, where Routes pays a flat EUR 25 or EUR 500.
Seven days is short, and for a lost parcel it does not start when the parcel goes missing. The parcel must first sit undelivered for 14 calendar days before it is deemed lost, and only then does the 7-day filing window open.
The route decides the deadline, not the carrier. A domestic Dutch parcel gets 7 calendar days and an international one 7 business days, and neighbouring markets differ again: France 3 days, Italy 8, the UK 14.
A missing photograph ends the claim. Vinted Go rejects claims outright where the listed evidence is absent or inconclusive, and a lost-parcel claim needs a handwritten statement of non-receipt with a specific set of fields.
Routes is sold as a consumer product, with no account required, so it is worth confirming it is a fit before routing commercial volume through it.
